Leaving my vote open for Nick. He made the big shots when the game was actually close.
TJ's on-court leadership wins him MVP.
"And they came in here and handed the Buffalos their skin."
"The Buffs have been crushed and turned into pavement here."
I went with AG for the breakout value and the confidence building momentum. TJ was phenomenal as was Nick. Overall I'm thrilled with the joy the team showed tonight. Haven't seen smiles and exuberance like that for a few months. This is the turnaround experience we need headed into March.
I picked AG.
He needs to be respected 10' - 20' out to draw defenders out of the lane. Hitting some mid to long range jumpers changes the scouting and coaches will have to defend him.
He needs to do this every game even if he misses some. Just shooting from outside will draw a defender.
At CO he did that, I cant tell you how frustrating it has been seeing defenders 8'-10' away and him not take a shot.
I know his shooting is at times atrocious, but he HAS to make them guard him.
Last night he changed scouting reports a little, that may be all we needed to get RHJ or NJ a space to squirm in there or ZEUS one less set of hands in the air around him.
Way To GO EVERYONE. That was a Freaking FUN game to watch.
Seems we have had a few games where people want to vote for a player, but he isn't on the list. I would like to make a suggestion. If a player played more than 10 minutes in the game, make him an option. That should capture all players that anyone would even consider voting on.
Need to make a case for York. Come on 10 rebs for the night.
I went with Gordon. It's no coincidence that his break out game is the same game that we played to our full potential. His confidence built up the team. Kudos to York on the boards, Nick's great offensive night and TJ's on court coaching and hustle.
"Make it happen."
Gordon only played the 2nd half and other than the 2 three pointers missed his shots that weren't layups or dunks. He was terrible in the 1st. Got to give it to TJ for 10 assists and 4 steals, he was masterful and did all the work that gave Gordon most of the easy buckets.
Entire team played great. But AG.
Give me Zues for shutting down Scott...that guy brought them back in the game and kept it close until he couldn't get a shot off.
Has to be Gordon. He made free throws, dunks, and TWO threes! 23 points! 2 top ten sc highlights!
There is no wrong answer here. Not tonight after this game!
Amazing team effort on the road!
Could go with just about anybody here, but gotta give T.J. credit for setting up plays for others, knocking down shots, and all his thievery on D. 10 assists, 4 steals, and 0 turnovers is crazy good. Great to see AG get back on track too.
York was the 1h MVP. Guy played some awesome defense and hit the boards on top of making some nice assists.
Game MVP is between Nick and Aaron.
Want to go with Nick, because of his defense on X.Johnson coupled with his offense when we needed buckets, but that choice isn't available.
So, Gordon it is.
Had to go with AG, coming back big after his worst game of the year. To be honest it was a tough choice! NJ was awesome, TJ was great and while York did not score big his 10 rebounds was huge! One of the best outings of the year for our Cats! Totally pumped about the over all performance! Zeus also had a great presence on the floor!
AG because this is what we all wanted to see, and to come back with this performance after the stinker he had last game. Big props to him. Very happy with the way the whole team played, it was great seeing them in sync and finally playing up to their potential. Loved it!
AG. Great bounce back win.
2nd place. TJ. Great vision tonight sir.
How many UCLA fans does it take to screw in a light bulb? None. They're too busy talking about how great the old one was.
Couldn't vote... No Nick Johnson listed.
"Courage is being scared to death - but saddling up anyway."
I think AG's breakout game is directly because of how well TJM played and thus TJ gets my vote
Nick Johnson has been added and I voted Nick. Made shots when it was close and had a breakout game to get his swag back. Get buckets Bunnies!!
AG or TJ - Both were instrumental tonight.
my vote is for Xavier Johnson
"I know Ms. Pac-Man is special. She's fun. She's cute. She swallows."
TJ - 10 Assist/0 Turnovers/4 Steals/9 Pts. That is an epic line. Could make a case for AG/Nick - glad to see them both back on track.
Every one was solid for the most part except RHJ. Total team effort!
Love Mayes giving it his best in limited action. Shows the improvement players get at Arizona just playing the best everyday in practice.
Give this one to Gordon though for his huge bounce back.
Sets up RHJ for the next MVP.
While we oftencomplain or question our coaching staff, just shows why they are coaching ane we are watching.
