Difference between winning and loosing, and that may ultimately be our tourney downfall.
freethrows win games. just a couple more made and both losses would have been wins.
I also think psychology is killing us. If we hit free throws the last 6 games we would have had 12-15 point leads and then when the other team goes on a 6-8 point run, no big deal. When we miss our free throws we have a 5-7 point lead and the other team ties/takes the lead and gains momentum and confidence. If we just hit the damn free throws the other team would be demoralized when they never can turn the corner and they wouldn't play with the same confidence at the end of the game. We keep letting teams think they can beat us.

Free throws will prove to be our swirling vortex of doom.
It's just sad to consistently see this team shoot below 40% on offense, below 30% 3pt shooting and below 55% from the freethrow line. With the exception playing OSU, this is now 6 + games.
nick Johnson 5-20 at Asu, 1-14 at cal. I mean really?
I'm Palpalife and you're not.
I can't wrap my head around, how Miller can be such a stud at free throws, but the team he coachs can suck sooooo bad at them
Even Zues was missing them left and right SMH
Everyone on this team is NBA-ready. You guys didn't know??
Free throws are critical when you think that your school can make a run for a title. The guys need to step up.
To play devil's advocate (pun intended)...realize that ASSU made one less free throw than the Cats and shot a mere 15/26.
Both teams were miserable and there were many ore things than could have been improved upon last night.
maybe it's a fatigue thing? since miller is incessant on playing his starters. i dont remember anyone else in the game for the last 20 minutes.

Bottom line, Ashley hid many of the flaws on this team, now that cover is no longer there.
