Obviously he is a great recruiter and great defensive coach. However the man has no clue offensively. This is utterly pathetic offense.

You're being too kind. Never going to win a NC with this style.

Guy needed to call a timeout, but this was a disgracefully officiated game.

He's learned to coach. He complained about the bad calls and was warned they'd T him up. He couldn't stop them. He tried. Two trips. No foul. Three charges called when the defender was sliding. Their joke of a point guard runs straight into TJ and TJ is called for the block. So much Bullshiot!!!!

And once again. Their fan throws something and hits our player, no technical. Their players and fans rush the court and no technical. SO MUCH BS in this game. And then the classless, talentless SCUMMIES will brag about how good they are.

The refs took the Wildcats out of this game. You could see it on them half way through the second half. How about when Nick was going for the loose ball and the ASSU player took his legs out from under him....no foul!...

Officiating was pathetic. Those refs should be fired on spot but I am sure Larry Scott loved it. He should be fired yesterday but no one ever will. How was that not hanging on the rim or rushing the court by players? Fans are idiots and that is fine but the players broke the rule. Guess it only counts if it is us. **** Herb.

However, Miller simply can't coach offense. We are going nowhere in the tourny.

I will now wait for the homers to tell me how wrong I am but sooner or later they will wake up and realize how stupid they are. I won't name any names but one idiot rhymes with snapplefest.

How was it not a T for throwing something at our player?

Cold hard reality is though we have no margin for error because Miller doesn't care about offense. He is Ben Howland all over again. Horrible..........two ots and still can't get to 70.

Terrible officiating again. Dave Hall sucks so bad. Horribly played game as well. McConnell
Looked awful. Not sure why you would have your shortest guy go against the #1 shot blocker in the country. Poor coaching as well.
Our defense is really good but I'm not seeing much more than that.

Call a timeout on the possession where TJ got blocked? I'm more ok with that shot than the NJ fadeaway or the AG hook (both off of timeouts). Let 'em go against a back pedaling, unorganized defense.

Hindsight is 20/20, but when the game is tied late in the game you simply do not have a below 50% free throw shooter drive giving the opponent a great chance to intentionally or unintentionally foul. He made 1, but if we had a bucket, they would have had to hit a 3 to win.

Also you don't have your point guard drive into tons of traffic including an elite rim protector when you need to score.

Wouldn't trade Miller for any other coach, but it is obvious he is more so a defensive minded coach. There are other bad plays, but that late in the game you either have to have a better play going or call a timeout.

I can't blame Miller for nobody being able to shoot on this team...I really can't think of any other way to improve an offense when nobody can shoot

I wish I could say you're wrong, but right now I'm worried we may not even win the Pac. Five years and we can barely go six deep is not great recruiting. It takes a lot of energy to play D, which is part of the reason we fade toward the end of the season. Need to have some kind of a rotation. And is there nothing this coaching staff can do about the crap free throw shooting.

Why again should he call a timeout? So they could run another clogged toilet, isolation hero shot? Baych-whatever made a great play closing late, drop off to Kaleb and its a W tho, and TJ will see that more times than not. Still sick.

I don't think the offense will be fixed this year. Gotta rely on our great defense if we expect to go far in the tourney.

As far as next year goes...Stanley, Kadeem, and even PJC should help out points on the board.

Can't depend on recruiting freshmen who have no offensive skill set whatsoever.

York was suppose to be a great offensive player. I think he was beaten down so much for his D last year, he's no longer particularly good at either. Zero points tonight.

You are correct. How many players have gotten better offensively under Miller. He may be the best defensive coach in bball but boy his offense blows.

Nick Johnson, Brandon Ashley, Derrick Williams, Solomon Hill, David West just to name a few. York was never a great offensive player. He was a great shooter and a guy who took a bunch of bad shots because he had to. He does have a nice floater though...

I can name just as many that got worse. Can you say Mayes? York has regressed. Hell Gordon was better offensively earlier this year. BTW I am not so sure that Nick is better offensively now.

16 offensive boards and a loss. It wasnt the ref or coaching that cost this game. TJ puts up his 3rd game this season that he cant hit a free throw. We have come to expect (not accept) it from Gordon' but not TJ and Nick. Only 9 assists on this game.

The boys played hard but they gotta keep the team ball going and get the free throws on track to close out these tough games.

He did. GJ and York can both stroke it but he prefers to play defense. Our D is sick. I am backing Miller with this team. They have heart and they fight.

This isn't on Miller. This tea has had garbage offense for about 6+ games. Brick Johnson has fully materialized and Gordon getting fouled is a turnover. I've never seen such garbage shooting. Missing open shots mind you. This is all on the players and their mental **** up on offense

How can you not blame him for the foul shooting? Why won't we run and get some easy buckets? How do we not use Zeus? How can we never run a play for York?

York has absolutely not regressed on offense. He was sparingly brought in last year as a three point specialist and was obviously nervous as a Freshman as his shots weren't close.

This season, he doesn't commit bad turnovers, opens up the offense with 1.5 assist per game, and shoots over 40% from beyond the arc.

He isn't "starter material" yet, but I think he has made great strides and can only get better on defense as his career progresses.

As far as Mayes is concerned...he broke his leg and never had a chance afterwards. I love the fact that he hasn't transferred and will graduate, but there isn't much to say about his career. Hard to judge Miller on the kid's offense ame thou because Jordin was never recruited to be a focal point on this team. He has been a shadow of Nick Johnson for three years

I f Miller can teach Zeus to become an 80% foul soother, then everybody else's woes are obviously mental. Outside of Gordon, the team still has a good collective FT percentage

I was waiting for something play out on the offensive side, but they could never find their groove. But I agree with changing our offensive approach.
