Wow. We sorely need a guy that can break the zone and score. Can't wait to see him alongside the ret of our dangerous backcourt.

Well, he may be a scorer, but not a shooter. 32.6% is a little below average for 3pt

Very true. With Gabe and Stanley on the perimeter, the team will still have a 46% shooter on the floor. If Nick returns....best backcourt in the country.

i haven't seen PJc from the perimeter, but I assume that he will put in some decent minutes when TJ gets a rest

I don't mean to dismiss the value of a scorer. Sooner or later you need points and if they are off of rebounds the percentage is less important

I totally agree. As much as I liked Lyons, I wouldn't want Kadeem to chuck up shots in a similar fashion

He will have a PG, not have to be the PG, that alone will be better than the Lyons era

I am not sure how to interpret Kadeem's stats from a JuCo. The numbers are amazing at first blush, but obviously the talent he is competing against is nothing close to what he will see next year. Can anybody ground me on what his realistic potential is when he transitions to UofA? Any other examples of past Juco players with Kadeem type numbers and how that translated to D1 power conference play? Is he a fringe starter that will get 10+ a game or the 8th man who will get us 2 - 4 per?

    How's his defense?
I blame ESPN, PAC-12 Network, Larry Scott, East Coast Bias, Direct TV, Dish Network, The Honda Center, PAC-12 Refs, and Mark Lyons

Your guess is as good as anybody else's. The best thing about him is he knows how to get to the line at a high percentage. He's also not the Mark Lyons chucker from what I understand. He gets most of his points taking his opponent off the dribble and driving to the hoop. Will that work at the Division I level? The answer is a resounding MAYBE. All I know is if you're going to play JUCO ball then you need to dominate JUCO ball and to his credit he's done that and more.

Arizona lands #1 JUCO for 2014 - what can his JUCO stats tell us?

It was writted October 29, 2013. It'll give you an idea what I think his 2013 stats tell us about him as a player. I'll do the same thing after this season.

Looks like he has a LOT of room for upside. I think he'll be a good addition and we'll see if he turns into a NJ or a Mayes.
