Brandon Ashley will likely get surgery in the next few weeks
How common is this injuy in basketball? Does it raise red flags that we have had two similar injuries the last couple of years, or is it three? Mayes, Parrom, and Ashley?
Unless there is a way to train our guys not to come down on randomly placed feet, then no. This isn't like a non-contact ACL sprain which can have contributory factors of fatigue or muscle imbalance. This is just plain and simple rotten luck.
This Injury isn't nesc. common to just basketball, but all contact sports. It happens
And no, this doesn't raise red flags.
Parrom was shot, but i know you're talking about the broken foot, his injury was more typical, heals easier
Mayes had a stress fracture, that's common in any impact sport...
Ashley had a big oaf land on the back of his foot.... uncontolable
