Yes or no!
Yes. Tougher, but yes.
“Our program is different. Our program is used to being in this situation, because that's the biggest problem in terms of turning a program around is that you have to realize - and our guys do - that every time you come out you have 'Arizona' on your chest. We're used to that.” -Dios-
I'll let you know after a few games without him...k?
NO. Anyone that says differently is a blind ass homer. We already weren't deep. 6 guys is not enough. Brash is an elite talent.
If we had Ash for this game, I believe we would have won
NO ****ING CHANCE
Aaron Gordon needs to give up his SF aspirations for awhile and go play the 4. He actually has good back to the basket post moves but rarely shows them.
Hate to say it but doubtful.... This is where great coaching comes into play though.
THIS IS ARIZONA
I say we still have a shot, but a real battle at a much lower seed
If we use his injury as motivation like Louisville did with Ware. We are still a great team. Let's win it FOR Ashley.
"Make it happen."
Lucky for us, none of the players or staff believe for a second that they are out of it. Every elite athlete/coach goes into every game believing that they will win and goes into a season believing they can win a title. Does it always work out? No. But I bet they win a lot more games with that attitude than otherwise.
Thoughts and prayers out to Brandon Ashley.
It's not impossible, but this really, really, really hurts our chances.
Only if Gordon plays the 4 the rest of the way and Nick Johnson is consistently making shots.
If someone told me that Michigan would be winning the B1G without Mitch McGary I would've laughed.
Rest of the players gotta step up and bear down.
We still have 2 McDonald's All Americans on the roster. And literally 3-4 NBA talent guys. Just gotta play smarter and focused. Get Korchek up to speed and TJ needs to take charge and run the offense like a general.

How many UCLA fans does it take to screw in a light bulb? None. They're too busy talking about how great the old one was.
I know that Coach has to walk a fine line and keep the rotation down to keep all the best players in long enough to keep them happy, but this is the reason I've always liked it when Coach was using a 9 to 10 man rotation. It just wore the opponents down to looking like two week old celery. JMO.
Defensively, Arizona is definitely still at a national championship level, but offensively....gonna need some guys to really step up.
"if you're not bearin down, i dont know whatcha doin"
Wasn't a foregone conclusion we would win it with him, but he's probably our most skilled offensive player. Gotta move Gordon to the 4. Maybe Pitts can backup the 3. Hard to tell how good he can be since he's never been given a chance to play. This why it was crazy trying to squeak by with only seven.
We're not a team built on lights out shooting. We're a team built on using our length and versatility to wear apponemts down. Without Ashelry we lose a significant piece to that.
with that said, I hope Korcheck can give us some meaningful minutes on defense and rebounding to fill in for Ashley. When he's not he floor, I'd like to have the other 4 pick up their offensive game, and Korchech to use his body to set meaningful screens.
I think if he were to have played tonight, we may could have worn down Cali some more and eeked out a 2 point win.
but I think Miller Using Korchech is the X factor here
