    Yes. Tougher, but yes.

    I trust hoopsnerd ratings.

Our top 6 is still the best as far as I can see. Although it was a quick glance type thing, so I might have missed a team or 2 but I doubt it.

We're still in it to win it.

Of course, we are still better than many of the recent title winners. The margin of error for those 6 games just shrunk immensely though.

NO. Anyone that says differently is a blind ass homer. We already weren't deep. 6 guys is not enough. Brash is an elite talent.

If you posted you garbage earlier, maybe this wouldn't have happened. Maybe start sacking up for the team?

    I guess I'm a "blind ass homer"

    Yes.

There are NO elite teams out there - 6 deep teams have won championships before.

Aaron Gordon needs to give up his SF aspirations for awhile and go play the 4. He actually has good back to the basket post moves but rarely shows them.

He looked incredible on the boards once he took that role over. What did he go into halftime with? 10 rebounds?

Huh? So, losing BA means we'll lose a bunch of games and drop a bunch of seeds?

Don't see it at all. Arizona should still, easily, win the P12 regular season title - and at the very, very, very worst they would be a 3 seed if the committee wants to screw them for not having BA.

Dan, in, I should have clarified. 3 seed is "much lower" than the overall #1 I think we were all expecting. I hope you're correct. Always respect your posts, brother

If we use his injury as motivation like Louisville did with Ware. We are still a great team. Let's win it FOR Ashley.

I think this and with some help from the bench the Wildcats could stay in the hunt for the FF.

I know that Coach has to walk a fine line and keep the rotation down to keep all the best players in long enough to keep them happy, but this is the reason I've always liked it when Coach was using a 9 to 10 man rotation. It just wore the opponents down to looking like two week old celery. JMO.

I agree. Think of how much better York would be this year if he had more experience last year. Korchek, Pitts and Peters could provide valuable time if they are given some experience.

You don't play them when u have an Ashley. But Korcheck on the court for Ashley is not a bad call at all. You have another 6'9 body in the lineup to play defense and rebound. On offense he set screens and the rest of the team picks up their offensive game by committee. It's rare u have a finness agile 6'8 player with Brandons athleticism, but Korchech can be an excellent stop gap

I'm not saying they will, I'm saying it's possible. We don't know because they have only been given garbage time. If they are given some meaningful minutes maybe they could step up. They obviously can't replace Ashley or any of the other starters, but giving them experience can allow them to step in and give opposing teams a different look and wear them down.

Player improvement isn't directly proportionate to game PT. PT won't hurt mind you (unless you get hurt obviously) - but this late in the season w/ all the minutes York has played THIS year - last season's minutes don't amount to much of anything. Jordan Mayes got mucho PT early in his career. Most player development happens off season and during the thousands of hours of practice, drills and scrimmages - not a couple hundred hours of game time a year before. Hell, who knows, maybe Gabe developed MORE off season to prove everyone wrong about his low minutes. You don't know.

Lucky for us, none of the players or staff believe for a second that they are out of it. Every elite athlete/coach goes into every game believing that they will win and goes into a season believing they can win a title. Does it always work out? No. But I bet they win a lot more games with that attitude than otherwise.

Thoughts and prayers out to Brandon Ashley.
