T.J. Nobody played their best tonight, but T.J. McConnell had some big shots in the first half, took care of the ball (O TOs),was all over the court penetrating and even picked up 8 rebounds.

Good lord, we played like crap. By all rights, we should've lost. Outrebounded for the first time, out shot, horrible free throw shooting...it's only our 3-point shooting that pulled it out. A W is a W on the road, but, man, that was ugly. AG was totally out of sorts. Zero confidence by end of game. Let's hope they got all the nerves out and come back and DEMOLISH Cal.

TJ was a ROCK all game, the one steady, consistent player from tip to buzzer.

    11 pts., 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, 0 turnovers

Flipped a coin and it came up TJ. Couldn't have won without NJ or TJ.

Survive and advance is all can say about that performance... Things could have gotten out of hand in the first half if it wasn't for TJ. For that alone he's my MVP tonight.

Worst game of the year so far... TJ was the MVP because without him this game coulda been over quickly as we came out flat and he had 3 of our first 4 fgs to keep us afloat.

In the very moments of doubt and fear there is 1 dude I trust to make a big shot. NICK JOHNSON MVP.
I blame ESPN, PAC-12 Network, Larry Scott, East Coast Bias, Direct TV, Dish Network, The Honda Center, PAC-12 Refs, and Mark Lyons

Has to be TJ. We wouldn't have have been in position for Nick's clutchness if it wasn't for TJ.

No disrespect to TJ, but I think it's Nick and it's not even debatable. The dude won the game.

TJ without a doubt. If he didnt get us in this game and hold it down, Nick wouldnt have had the chance to pull it out in the end.

It was a hard decision for me between Nick and TJ but I went with Nick because of his clutch play in the end even after missing some FT's he still kept his cool. I definitely agree though that TJ kept us in the game and was all over the place. Oh and can I get a s/o to Zeus for snatching that offensive rebound that lead to that clutch 3 by Nick.

TJ kept us in it early and made some huge plays.

Nick won the game. That gets MVP everytime. When we needed a bucket in crunch time, he came up big.

Nick was superstar in the second half and I am a big fan of him. But I will go for TJ on this one. He was really motivated and in the game from beginning to an end. He shot well, he got a lot of rebounds and he kept us in the game from the beginning.

I also really liked the fact that TJ plays huge when we are not home!

I am not taking anything away from TJ, but a lot of those boards came from incredible box outs by our bigs. They were driving fools out of bounds and allowing our guards to go get the ball. Zeus is great at that.

Don't in the least disagree that NJ was the man in the second half, but without TJ this game could have been a blow out for Stanford very early in the first half.

McConnell 1st half, Zeus 2nd half for his big off rebound.

That's a great point. I observed that as well. We can add the rebounds of York, Rondae & Nick to this as well.
