Any of y'all going to the games this week?

I was lookin at tickets... Cal has visitor section tix for $150 (asshats), but Stanford's options look better and cheaper, $26. The only drawback is the 6pm start time, in which most of us commuting around here are usually sitting in traffic (2nd-worst in nation).

Check the Stanford Roll Call thread. To avoid traffic, just go to the Stanford game early like I will and properly inebriate yourself for a couple of hours.

I found cheaper tickets on StubHub awhile ago. I'm going with a group of 11 Cats and they offered us a group deal with cheaper tickets for Cal. Stanford had cheap tickets on their websites in the general admission area, but this was all when I bought my tickets over 2 months ago...

I'll be at both! Both fan bases are pretty sad, so we have to rock the UofA chant!

For you Yay Area CATS fans going to the Cal game, don't forget to read the memo upon departure for this game:

Where are your seats? I'm in Section 28, near the alumni section.

Well, thought about it long and hard(hehehe), and I'm going to save my money and put it towards trying to get to Vegas for the Pac12 Tourney and donate for the MGM party.

I got a 70 inch LCD and Comcast. I'll have the best seat in the hizzy.

Posted this on Twitter yesterday since the forum was down:

If UofA fans still need tickets to the Cal game, Kathleen (a CL find) at 9258181417 has 30 tix in Sec.12 for $40 each

Not the best seats, I know, but pretty reasonable considering that game's been sold out for a while now. I'm in Sec. 11 myself so come say hello, haha.

Otherwise, StubHub is another option...they had center seating for the Cal game for about $110 last week.

Maybe you can get a Cal fan in Sec. 28 to switch with me in Sec. 11? I'm coming to the game alone and would rather sit with fellow Wildcat fans! I'm not an alumni, but my son goes to UofA and I've been a big fan since...

I considered doing that too, but there's nothing like going into hostile territory and coming out victorious! Besides, this year's team is special and I'd like to personally see them get a road win.

AZ BayCats are having a pre-game party from 5:00-7:15 p.m. at Pappy's Grille, 2367 Telegraph Ave, about a 5-6 minute walk away from Haas Pavilion. It's too late to sign up for the buffet, but you can probably hang out and have a brew or two. I may swing by before going to the game if I can excuse myself from a lunch date with family. Pappy's is the only place that I know where UofA fans will congregate before the game, so you'll find a lot of kindred spirits there on Saturday. Don't forget to wear your red and be loud and proud for #1!

Would I still be welcome if I'm not an alumni? My son goes to UofA, though, and I've been a huge Wildcats fan since...
