Likely this weekend.
thankx for the news ACE... glad he's coming onboard
don't have pf or know if its been said already but what are the chances zues leaves with him coming in? im hoping it wont affect him leaving.
Haha I doubt that there is anybody that can commit who will scare Zeus to the NBA. He was the #4 recruit last year and its taken him some time to get to where he is at...
Zeus plays over everybody at the 5 spot if he's still around next season. Only difference is we'd have a true 5 backing him up next year.
I thought it was Dusan Ristic? Great news!
will this wrap up the 2014 class?
News is going world wide.....this is where its at!!
seems he has been playing this year in Kansas, is that right? And if so, how has he done?
I definitely want to see the outlook of our team with TWO 7'0 C in our rotation with little to no dropoff in terms of height and size.
Were going Global, better tell Dawgwarrior!!!
Now, from the brief highlights I've seen and the little I've heard, don't expect magic his freshman year. That doesn't mean he's a flop!
Any concerns with Ristic qualifying or being eligible next year and why does he not have a star rating?
Playing against a 7'-3"player...
Thanks for the videos.
Nice court vision, good passer, finishes with either hand, as a big man keeps the ball UP away from smaller players, and he has a nice jump shot from 12-17 ft. And while not shown here, I think he has it in him to execute the pick and pop really well.
He may have some strength/jumping issues but he obviously has a feel for the game and seems to be further along than a lot of big men I have seen come in to college.
I can easily see him contributing some his freshman year and really finding his game/grove by his sophomore year.
Unless my math is wrong that leaves us -1 in the schollie count (I'm assuming we're losing Aaron Gordon). Who do you guys think the other player to leave will be?
Simon & Jeter, too?
Reminds me quite a bit of Pau Gasol with that jumper (identical mechanics almost) and great fundamentals, shies away from contact like most euro bigs. I think he could really develop into something special, though I know very little about scouting and development.
He seems like the type of player that could do a lot of good by staying for the summer.
Where does he rate vs other centers in his class? Pgu on top of it as usual.
Love the pickup. Guy seems to be a developmental big. Let him get a few minutes behind Zeus, and possibly hit the ground running his Sophomore year.
Great size, looks to have decent fundamentals. Arizona and Sean Miller will toughen him up.
I just ran into him and what I assumed was his family at the campus bookstore. Big dude... Some of the family was decked out in UA gear.
Its a done deal
