Been to a Final Four?
I have done very surface research on attending a Final Four. I am more focused on the ticket buying experience. Does anyone have experience(s) they would be willing to share?
I usually am risk adverse when it comes to scaling, but it seems like it might be the way to see a Final Four. You don't have to spend 400+ right now for nosebleeds.
No experience scalping tickets, BUT it is fairly easy to get tickets once the alotments free up, right now the good tickets are held back, well a large chunk of them for the universities. Once the universities use their alotment the better tickets will pop up. they will pop up here starting at this link.
I would avoid stubhub or ticketmaster for right now unless you really just want a seat.
Thanks. I assume your only experiences with receiving allotments is from the UA. Is it pretty tough to get tickets, unless you are a big doner?

I hardly paid anything when I saw Butler and UCONN in the National championship. Hell, the Huskies didn't even use their own student section and hired Houston's kids to wear blue behind the basket.
The ame is being played at Jerry's World and I wouldn't anticipate nosebleeds to go for more than $350 each as there are 100,000 seats.
Went last year. Paid $650 apiece for a pair online the Tuesday before. Then met a Wichita fan outside before the game and paid him $100 to switch between games to watch UM/Cuse 15 rows up. The scalper market wasn't great because a lot of the secondary ticket sites had a policy where you buy tickets and then to get them you swiped your credit card as you were walking in and the tickets printed out. There was also a lot of chatter about fake tickets being sold on the street, as is the case with all big events.
I dont even like the university alotment tickets, i like to sit behind the bench or damn near on the floor, but i can tell you this, tickets free up as soon as the games become set. IE the actual teams who are playing each other go into effect, then check the following 3 days after that.

Jerrys world is huge so you shouldnt have a problem getting a ticket, you might just not like your seat (the place is a madhouse)
