Even though we shot horribly, it's assuring to know our team's identity and roles.
Lyons: Despite his shortcomings and anger-inducing tendencies, he's truly our closer and once again showed his clutch ability with those two free throws.
Solo: He's our best player and rock. The only game he really struggled was the Clemson game, and even in that game he wasn't playing horribly. When everyone else was struggling, solo took the ball to the rack and showed what he's made of.
Parrom: KP has been a PGU favorite for awhile now and for good reason. Those 3s are always key and he, like solo, is consistent. His presence off the bench feeds the team with energy.
Nick: Bunnies is the jack-of-all trades. His defense, scoring, and game management have been essential to our team's success.
While our freshman bigs have been struggling, there have been moments of greatness that should only become more and more regular. Overall, the fact that we continue to win these ugly games is a sign of an elite team. Not saying that we're elite YET, but the ceiling is as high as we make it.
