Nastiness is Required! BTFD
It was a gift from the refs. You can personally thank me; after blowing numerous calls, I made the refs an offer they couldn't refuse. still undefeated at mckale...
As an AZ fan it's arguable , as a ncaabb fan I see this as another example of PAC 12 refs making a call I think should have gone the other way. Thrilled they got it wrong this time
Buffs played great. I'd be pissed too but their hands aren't clean in this and they know it.
We need to step it up a notch. Came out flat at the start of each half which is inexcusable.
Let's call it like it is...whether the got damn ball was released by a split second or not, this was(IMO) and will have ended up being a make up call for AZ for some really bad officiating favoring CU. My son and I were sitting right next to the scoreboard in McKale and CU as a team was in foul trouble as early as the 1st half and I think the refs felt it got out of hand and out of balance...
I saw one or two blocking fouls called on AZ that looked like legit charges against CU...We can also argue there were some charges called against AZ where the CU player wasn't even set..
Not to mention that horrid call on the pressurized cross over attempt by one of the CU guards that trip himself under the 2 min. mark...NJ would've blown the top off of McKale...
“I want to win,” Rondae Hollis-Jefferson said. “Everything I do is to help my team win, and I really think Arizona is a place where we can win a national championship.” -Rondae Jefferson
Somewhere exists the uncompressed, unencoded, high frame rate raw HD-SDI / ASI recording of the game. Whoever has that tape might consider leaving town for a few days and laying low.
In order for the shot to be good there must be a frame, where there is still .1 on the clock with the ball out of his hands. There exists no frame of that to my knowledge.
Let's see the zapruder films...
I have no problem saying we absolutely stole one. But not because of the last shot, I'm talking about being down 10 with 1:53 to play. You're not supposed to win games like that and we stole one. And it had everything to do with being at home.
As for the final shot, if Colorado fans want to scream about a heave way beyond that guy's range that banked in, go ahead. If you want the nation's sympathy, you can have it. We were no luckier to have that call go our way than Chen was lucky that shot went in.
Oh and we'll be there in Boulder. Show me what you got.
Exactly... I was actually already relaxed and ready for overtime as the ball went in because it looked like they were soundly stopped by our defense It was a completely broken play. Chen said in an interview that the play was to booker but the cats shut him down so he heaved it. A slop shot on a slop possession. It looked like a basket but I really don't feel that bad for the buffs
