Obviously a win on Saturday night would be immediate satisfaction to the Wildcat Nation. I myself went to the Florida game last year in Gainsville and ended up leaving wanting to knock some gator fans out. We were no where near the team we are this year and played shortmanned. A win against the gators will quickly get us some respect from the media (especially in the east coast bias media where I reside) and establish a "this team is for real attitude" nation wide. But for how long?
This got me thinking of how it used to be not so long ago. Remember the Arizona duke, north carolina, kentucky, ect...matchups of old where it was Arizona going in as the long established powerhouse and was expected to win these big games? Arizona and the Pac-10 were the teams to beat and could hang with anybody in the nation. Although the rest of the Pac-12 is letting us down so far this year, I feel with a win Saturday night, this could be the "start" of something huge for the Arizona Nation in the long run. Dynasty is a very strong word and has to be established over time. Besides the Duke game in the tourny a few years ago with Dwill we havent been able to win that "Big Game". Well here it is. Our next "Big Game".
Hopefully we will be looking back at this game years from now and remember where our "Dynasty" started and once again we are the team that everybody is fearing because we've earned it with big game wins consistently. This Saturday night at 10pm Eastern time , which should have been earlier by the way (east coast bias), could be the start of something huge for this year and years to come or a loss would put us right where we've been. This season, this team, this game, has the chance to truly be special. We've had our Mr. LUUUUUUTE DYNASTY......now its time for the start of the MILLER TIME DYNASTY. Feel sorry for you gators cuz were coming to play. Go Cats!!!!!!!!!!
