Washington leads for Aaron Gordon
Contrary to reports that 6'6" 2013 forward Aaron Gordon considers Arizona and Washington co-leaders, he cleared up his comment for PGU
"I'd say Washington is on top right now, but Arizona's close. I have a great relationship with coach Romar so they're definitely in the lead right now, but it's close," Gordon said.
Though Washington leads for Gordon, he was adamant that he is open to recruitment and does not plan on making a decision any time soon, which is good news for Arizona fans.
"The Arizona coaches came to see one of my practices," Gordon said. "I talked to them and really liked what they're trying to do."
Gordon is a star member of the Oakland Soldiers AAU team, and is also younger brother to former UCLA Bruin and current new Mexico Lobo, Drew Gordon. Clearly, he has some deep ties to the west coast.
"It would be cool to stay on the west coast," Gordon told PGU
, "but I haven't really been contacted by a lot of east coast schools. The west coast is showing me love so I've got to show love back."
Most believe that Gordon favors Washington, Arizona, and Kansas at this point.
