One of the best players in the class of 2014, Shaqquan Aaron, was in Tucson for Arizona's loss to Washington on ESPN's College Game Day. Though Arizona lost, Aaron said he was impressed by the atmosphere at McKale Center.
"It was a great atmosphere, the fans were crazy," Aaron said. "I could tell that the fans are really great."
The skilled and versatile wing also said he enjoyed the Arizona campus.
"It's a nice campus, definitely," Aaron said. "It's warm and the weather is nice which is good. I liked the campus a lot."
Aaron, who was recently ruled ineligible to play this year because of CIF transfer rules, is still getting a lot of recruiting attention.
"All of the same schools are recruiting me, a lot of Pac-12 programs and schools all across the country as well," Aaron said.
Though Aaron has a lot of basketball programs vying for his attention, he has no timetable on making a decision.
"I don't plan on making a decision anytime soon, I still have a lot of time," he said. "I'm going to take my time and see what school fits me best."
